What is Globex?
Globex is the CME's electronic trading platform where futures trade nearly 24 hours a day.
When traders say "Globex session" or "overnight," they mean futures trading outside regular stock-market hours. Asian and London sessions both trade on Globex.
EXAMPLE
A major economic release in Europe at 3:00 am ET can move ES on Globex hours before US stocks open.
