GLOSSARY · PROP FIRMS

What is Consistency Rule?

A consistency rule limits how much of your total profit can come from a single day.

Firms use it to make sure you passed through repeatable trading, not one lucky day. Rules vary by firm — commonly no single day can exceed 30–50% of total profit.

EXAMPLE

With a 30% rule and a $3,000 target, no single day can contribute more than $900 toward passing.
