GLOSSARY · PROP FIRMS

What is Payout?

A payout is a withdrawal of your profit share from a funded prop firm account.

Firms set rules for when you can request one: minimum trading days, minimum profit, and sometimes a buffer above the drawdown. Read them before you start — they shape how you should trade.

EXAMPLE

A firm may require 5 winning days and a $500 minimum before the first payout.
