What is Order Block?

An order block is the last opposing candle before a strong move, where large orders are thought to sit.

The concept comes from ICT (Inner Circle Trader) methods. A bullish order block is the last down candle before a sharp rally; traders expect price to react if it returns there.

EXAMPLE

NQ prints a red 5-minute candle at 20,000–20,010, then rallies 60 points. A later pullback into 20,000–20,010 is an order-block buy zone.
