GLOSSARY · PROP FIRMS

What is Funded Account?

A funded account is a prop firm account you trade after passing an evaluation, with profits shared between you and the firm.

Funded accounts keep the evaluation's risk rules. Traders are paid out a share of profits — often 80–90% — subject to the firm's payout rules.

EXAMPLE

After passing a $50K evaluation, a trader earns $4,000 in the funded account and requests a payout of their share.
